Kulhad Pizza couple controversy: As the controversy around the popular Kulhad Pizza couple intensifies, new rumours around Sehaj Arora and Gurpreet Kaur from Jalandhar keep on taking the internet by storm. Reports claiming that Sehaj Arora died by suicide started circulating on the internet recently, leading to a bigger chaos. As soon as the reports started doing rounds on social media, the couple reportedly came forward and debunked the claims. Taking to their Facebook handle, the duo reportedly clarified and released a statement claiming that the said reports were fake and Arora is still very much alive. He further explained the ordeal the couple went through because of the rumours and how they have been getting several calls over the matter. The entire quagmire unfolded when a private MMS video of the couple was leaked online. Since then, the couple has been releasing several clarification videos of the incident.
“Fake news (bohat call ar rahe ahi 2 din ton please stop) Media is requested to not edit old interviews and run them. Dear public don’t trust any kind of interview,” the post reportedly read.
The entire controversy began a few days back after the private video was leaked on social media. As soon as the video made it online, Arora took to his Instagram handle and claimed that the video was ‘AI-generated’ and that the duo was blackmailed into giving money in exchange for the clip not being leaked. The duo also filed a complaint over the matter at a police station in Punjab. However, the claims made no difference, and the private video link kept in circulating, after which, the man posted another video on his social media. In the second video, Arora was visibly distressed and urged people to stop circulating the link as it created a lot of trouble for the couple.
Amid all this, the couple also released a post where they claimed that they are facing ‘political pressure’ to take their statement back. Arora also claimed that the couple has no political support. Police, on the other hand, have also arrested a woman for circulating the MMS. The woman reportedly worked for the duo and was fired for her unsatisfactory work. Arora claimed that the woman blackmailed them and asked for money. Meanwhile, the internet has been left divided as half people sided with the couple and asked each other to not share the link, while the other half blamed the duo for the matter.
The duo became parents a few days back after they welcomed a newborn into the world. The Kulhad Pizza couple rose to fame back in 2022, when their unique pizza went viral on social media. Since then, the couple’s shop has welcomed some of the most prominent names in Punjab.
